Hello HL2GO community!

Our classic Counter-Strike: Source Dust2 CSDM servers just received a full fun-system pass. This is not a tiny patch — ranks, announcer sounds, killstreak moments, mystery crates, knife breaks, smarter bots, cleaner maps, and stronger VIP rules are all live now.

Both regions run the same 1:1 feature stack:

1. Rank system — earn XP, climb ranks, check rank / top / sm_lvl
2. Quake sounds — classic announcer for first blood, headshots, multi-kills and streaks
3. Streak Moments — speed, godmode, fake skin, bounty XP and more (no free guns)
4. Moment Drop crates — glowing mystery crates with 18 fun rewards
5. Knife-only fun breaks — short knife rounds every 10–15 minutes
6. Smarter bots — natural nicknames, living bot count, no bot snipers
7. Cleaner map & chat — ground weapons cleaned, bot rename spam hidden
8. VIP upgrade — CSS DM extras + snipers VIP-only

🏆 Levels & Ranks

Dust2 DM now has a persistent rank ladder tuned for FFA-style deathmatch.

• Earn XP from kills / deaths and climb ranks over time
• Commands: rank, top, sm_lvl
• Progress is saved on each Dust2 DM instance
• Top ranks stay a long-term goal (Global Elite territory around ~10000 XP)

🔊 Quake Sounds

Classic announcer pack for big moments:

• First blood, headshot, multi-kill and streak lines
• Client-safe MP3 sounds via FastDL
• Toggle anytime with !sounds / sm_quakesounds

⚔️ Streak Moments

Keep a killstreak and unlock short moments — buffs and drama, not free loot.

📦 Moment Drop Crates

Every 6–10 minutes a glowing crate lands on Dust2. First human to reach it claims a random fun reward.

• Warn before spawn, then ~120s to claim
• Type !crate / sm_crate for status / hint
• No free guns — rewards are moments and XP

Reward pool (examples)

• SPEED RUSH / IRON SKIN / UNDERCOVER fake skin
• XP CACHE, DOUBLE XP, QUAKE BLAST
• MOONWALK, VAMPIRE, BLADE FURY
• RADAR SWEEP, AMMO FRENZY, HEADHUNTER
• SWAP CURSE, SHIELD WALL, BOUNTY TOKEN
• NEON TRAIL, CHAOS CALL (starts knife event), JACKPOT

18 weighted rewards with anti-repeat logic — VIP and high streaks can get softer/better rolls.

🔪 Knife-Only Fun Breaks

• Automatic knife-only event about every 10–15 minutes
• Duration 30–45 seconds
• ~8 second warning + live countdown (center + hint)
• When it ends: guns restored (team AK/M4 + pistol)
• Status: sm_knife

🤖 Smarter Bots

• Bot count feels alive: roughly 16–22, slowly shifting instead of a fixed wall of bots
• ~170 random player-like nicknames (symbols, spaces, clan-style tags)
• Bots cannot keep sniper rifles (AWP / Scout / autos stripped)
• Bots no longer auto-load Deagle (less pistol spam on the ground)

🧹 Cleaner Map & Chat

• Unowned ground weapons are cleaned regularly so Dust2 stays playable
• Safer cleanup that does not eat your equipped gun / viewmodel
• Bot name changed spam is hidden from chat (human renames stay visible)

👑 VIP on CSS Dust2 DM

All Source VIP perks still apply (reserved slot, admin chat @). On Dust2 CSDM you also get:

• [VIP] chat tag
• Spawn protection (3 seconds)
• Health regeneration (+2 HP every 2 seconds)
• Extra armor on spawn (100)
• Extra ammo (2×)
• Extra grenades on spawn (HE + Flash + Smoke)
• Speed boost (+15%)
• +10 HP and ammo refill on kill
• Anti-flash
• Sniper rifles (AWP / Scout / Auto) — VIP only
  Non-VIP can still see them in the CSDM menu, but they are dropped instantly.
