Recently seen an increase in complaints about lost VIP / ADMIN / SPECADMIN passwords.
Q: How does this happen?
A: Most often a person will buy one of our services on our servers, then connects to our server and share the IP address of the other server it asks to connect to.
When you connect to an untrusted/unknown server they read the client setinfo _pw rule and save the client login details (nick and password).
To protect your services you should not connect to untrusted servers. Always check our servers IP’s here: https://hl2go.com/servers/
If you will get scammed, your services will be removed without any dispute!
And one more scam method:
Sometimes users get messages from me (MiXFiX) directly to discord PM with asking to send you some money or make a “deal” for cheaper services.
So remember – I’M NEVER ASKING FOR USERS ANY MONEY AND NOT TEXTING THEM DIRECTLY ABOUT ANY SERVICES!
