1. Agreement
By creating an account, linking Steam/Discord/Google, purchasing any product on hl2go.com (the “Shop”), earning Rewards credits, or using HL2GO game servers, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and the Player Rules & Responsibilities. If you do not agree, do not order or use paid or free privileges.
2. What we sell
HL2GO sells digital in-game privileges and related one-time digital products for our game servers, including but not limited to VIP, Admin, SpecAdmin, Unban, and virtual currency (H2coin). These are not physical goods. Access is a revocable license to use features on our servers, provisioned into our game admin systems (e.g. AMXBans / SourceBans) after successful payment or Rewards claim.
3. Eligibility & account
- You must provide a valid email and keep it verified when required for checkout.
- You are responsible for credentials you set (nickname/password, Steam ID, IP).
- Linking Steam (or other logins) binds purchases and services to your Shop account.
- Sharing, reselling, or transferring paid access without our written consent is prohibited and may result in immediate privilege removal.
4. Orders, delivery & activation
- An order is accepted when payment is confirmed by Stripe or PayPal (or when Rewards credits are successfully claimed for a product).
- Delivery means writing your privileges into our game databases and reloading server admin caches (usually within minutes).
- “Extend” adds time to an existing active service for the same product; it does not create a second independent VIP row unless no active service exists.
- You can view and manage active services under My account.
5. Refunds
No refund after activation. Once in-game access has been provisioned (or an unban/H2coin credit applied), the digital service is considered delivered and is non-refundable, except where required by mandatory law.
If payment succeeded but provisioning failed due to our systems, contact shop support and we will repair delivery or refund at our discretion.
No refund if privileges are suspended or removed for rule-breaking, privilege abuse, ToS breach, chargeback, or security reasons (see §7–§8 and the Player Rules).
5b. Donations
Payments made on /donate/ are voluntary community donations to support HL2GO servers, hosting, and community events. They are not purchases of VIP/Admin products.
- Donations are non-refundable once payment is confirmed, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
- By donating you confirm you understand this before payment (checkbox on the donate form + Stripe “Donate” checkout).
- Optional recognition (site Donor badge, Discord HL2GO Donor role, leaderboard listing) is a goodwill perk — not a paid product — and may be removed if a chargeback/dispute is filed.
- Filing a dispute/chargeback on a donation after confirmation is treated as payment abuse under §6.
6. Chargebacks & disputes
- Filing a payment dispute / chargeback after using the service (or after a confirmed donation) is considered abuse of the payment network.
- When we receive a dispute notification, we may immediately suspend or permanently revoke related services and/or Donor recognition without prior notice.
- We retain and may automatically submit to Stripe/PayPal: order or donation records, ToS acceptance (time/IP), Steam/identity links, provisioning logs, and service configuration as evidence.
- Fraudulent disputes may result in account termination and ban from HL2GO services.
7. Player rules & acceptable use
You must follow the Player Rules & Responsibilities on all HL2GO game servers and related community channels, including rules for VIP/Admin/SpecAdmin conduct and mode-specific rules published on Discord.
- Do not abuse admin/VIP tools, evade bans by repurchase, share privilege passwords, or attack our infrastructure.
- Do not use privileges to harass players, advertise other projects, or bypass fair-play enforcement.
- Discord role badges synced from the Shop (Verified / VIP / Admin / SpecAdmin) may be removed when the underlying service is revoked.
8. Privilege suspension & removal (no warning required)
HL2GO may, at its sole discretion and without prior warning, suspend, demote, or permanently remove any purchased, gifted, promotional, or Rewards-earned in-game privilege (including VIP, Admin, SpecAdmin, and related access) if you:
- Break server or community rules;
- Abuse privileged commands or status;
- Share or transfer privilege credentials;
- Breach these Terms; or
- Pose a security or payment-abuse risk (including chargebacks).
Such removal does not entitle you to a refund, replacement privilege, or remaining time credit. Serious cases may also result in game bans and Shop account termination.
9. Service changes & availability
Game servers may restart, move, or change maps/plugins. Paid time continues according to your service expiry while the service remains active and not revoked under §8. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Permanent server shutdowns are handled case-by-case.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HL2GO is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost enjoyability, revoked privileges after rule-breaking, or third-party (Steam/PayPal/Stripe) outages. Our aggregate liability for a paid order is limited to the amount you paid for that order (and is zero where privileges were lawfully revoked under §8).
11. Privacy
We process account email, payment references, Steam/Discord/Google identifiers, IP addresses, and service configuration needed to deliver and protect the Shop. Payment card data is handled by Stripe/PayPal — we do not store full card numbers.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms and the Player Rules. The version linked at checkout applies to that order. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated documents for future orders and ongoing privilege use.
